Cup and Ring Marks Olive Fused Glass Dish

Description

Cup and Ring Marks Olive Fused Glass Dish. I have handcrafted this small jewellery or trinket bowl in olive green glass, and fused it in a kiln.

The design:

This small, square glass dish has a textured design inspired by my walks in the lovely county of Northumberland, viewing its prehistoric rock carvings. I choose colours which reflect the natural surroundings, such as the moss and lichens often present on and around the stones. The texture is enhanced when light catches the glass.

As well as for rings or trinkets the dish could be used as small tableware or for a tealight candle.

Please allow for a slight variation from the photo, as I make each glass dish individually. The tiny bubbles which can be seen inside are part of the original glass-making process.
