Amber Glass Rock Art Sculpture

Fused glass art handcrafted and fused in a kiln.

The design:

This curved glass piece features a textured design inspired by prehistoric rock carvings, cup and ring markings, seen on walks in the lovely county of Northumberland. I have chosen a glass colour which reflects the natural surroundings such as the moss and lichens often present on and around the stones.

Stands alone on a table or in a window or can also be used as a light catcher if stood in front of a small light or candle.

Size:

• 9 3/4 inches (25 cm) wide x 6 inches (15 cm) high. Depth of the curves approximately 1 3/8 inches (33 mm)

Please allow for a slight variation from the photo, as I make each glass piece individually. Tiny bubbles seen inside the glass are part of the original glass-making process.
